4 stars In first song, Já slyším můzy (I hear muses) Synkopy proves that their main influence was (and in these times still is) band of similarly synchronized guys called The Beach Boys, legends of surf rock. Not that I had a chance to surf in my life, but it's the definition. In this record, I hear thing that's probably their key point. Their voices, it's what they're unique in and what made them famous (at least in Czech Republic of these times). Songs sometimes derives well known melodies (Ave Maria on Svatební (or Wedding song), or unspecified one on Byl jednou jeden král (Once upon a time, there was a king)). And more songs, "Carry Down Wayward Son" and "Park" by Uriah Heep. These covers are, as I said in review of third best of, normal in these times. Original ones couldn't get through political barrier, so we made covers. And this "Park" is a good one, their vocal skills are used here to maximum extent. But not everything is great in Kingdom of Danish. 2nd is worse than 3rd, 1st one still awaits listening. And it's quite bad feeling that if I wouldn't be here, from Czech Republic, I wouldn't also know about this great music. Creepy, a little bit, how many things I'm missing in other countries production.

4(-), for heavy prog with great vocals. Maybe the best I've ever heard in this kind of music. Or at least one of the best.
