4 stars First of all this is not a prog album or an Avant album entirely, Its kind of more like a Film Score..

I first listened to the album in Zorn's Myspace, I was fascinated, its been a long time since one song could made me relax so much. The songs in this album are all like time machines, and I'm not exagerating.

The guitars in this album are sublime, I think that sound can't be compared with classical guitar as a genre, although its a classical guitar that is played, it has more of an East European influence.

The execution is great entirely! all the instruments fit incredibly good!! I was fascinated how all the instruments shined without leaving the others behind. The soft voice of Ganda Suthivarakom its really great making us believe that we are transported to another time seeing a beautiful lady singing on the plains with a great landscape in front of us.

My favourite piece in the album would be Merkabah it is the most balanced tune.

So in my opinion if you like Soundtracks or Scores, this might interest you a lot!!

higly recomended!
