This record sounds a lot like PINK FLOYD during their "The Wall" and "The Final Cut"
albums.The singer here really reminds me of Roger Waters, and the guitarist has
his Gilmour impressions down pat. This record is very well wriiten, and performed at a high
level. There is some variety as well, including some Blues and straight up Rock numbers, and
several instrumentals.This is a concept album that would be better explained by going on their website. Highlights for me are "Mainstream" a very PINK FLOYD sounding mellow tune, featuring acoustic guitar and softer vocals, though the song does grow to be more intense. And "Blood From A Stone" is very proggy, and the previous song an instrumental "High In The Himalayas" is a beautiful but short tune with keyboards and acoustic guitar. This is a good release that PINK FLOYD fans may be interested in, as well as those who like concept albums.
