5 stars Best prog album ever? Here's my exhibit A. These Japanese dudes just keep on delivering the goods. I'd been a Kenso fan for ten years before I heard this insanely brilliant, furiously energetic album (trying to keep up with Il Berlione or Happy Family, boys?). This really is quite absurdly wonderful, endless melodic and harmonic invention combined with instrumental rawness and concise soloing, plus ventures into drum'n'bass which I hope they follow up. Bruford, National Health, Focus fans should be ashamed not to own this gem. If Mr Yoshihisa Shimizu is still doing his dentistry, he could pull a tooth without anaesthetic and I wouldn't complain if this was on the stereo. Pure, unalloyed genius.
