THE STORM INSIDE

Soft highly melodic debut from a great band, well actually it's just a one man band, consisting of Bert Heinen, with aid from a drummer. The music is very much comparable with Clepsydra (Schwiss band) so the style can be very much be compared with neo-prog sound, focussing more on the softer melodics than bands like IQ, or Marillion tend to do.

No weak points to give to this album, very nice and worthy of recognition.

Do yourself a favour, if you like soft melodics and tranquilizing keyboard music, augmented with some good guitars and a pleasant voice. Listen to this.

Fans of Pendragon, Clepsydra, Camel and such, will surely find a new favourite band with Like Wendy.
