3 stars This album isn't the catastrophe it's made out to be. Yes classic ELP is AWESOME. Yes, this album in comparison isn't even close, but it's still an interesting listen, Memoirs of an Officer and a Gentleman is quite good and catchy but it takes about 3 listens for you to enjoy it. Canario isn't too bad, its no "Hoedown" but its not terrible. The other 5 kinda suck but not too badly, they still are listenable. Stop complaining ELP fans, there were worse late 70's prog albums made. It's no brain salad surgery but its still decent.
