5 stars When listening to live CD's I don't really listen for how good the songs are, that's what the studios are for, but I usually listen for how good the band sounds aside from thier studio technology dependency. Rush is known to be one of the best live preformers among most bands, and Different Stages is a testimony to prove that my freinds. If your new to Rush, or looking for some good Rush to listen to, then check out Different stages, becasue Geddy, Neil, and Alex all sound beautiful. 2112 sounded a little weird on the discovery, but I enjoyed to say that there isnt' enough of a down set to give it anything lower than top rating. It still sounds great, and that song alone isn't enough for me to say that this album is worth the look into. Different stages was one of the first live albums I heard from Rush, in fact, one of the first albums I heard from Rush and I'm here to testify that it's a great way to start or continue with your Rush collection. 5 stars for the album, it's incredible.
