THE DIVISION BELL

For the record David Gilmour was the true genius of floyd.He is the man responsible for the pink floyd sound.Thats what music is about sound.Roger waters was not a great musician only a great lyricist just listen to the final cut and his solo albums.This sounds much more like floyd than anything since dogs on animals.Its not a perfect album there are a few mediocre tracks like take it back and keep talking but there a lot of great ones to.High hopes is one of the best songs on any floyd album.Incredibly emotional and sad ending with an incredible slide guitar solo.Gilmour is the only guitarist who can bring you to tears with one note brilliant.
