2 stars This album marks probabley one of the must incridble loses of the music industrey. After three AMAZING albums of deep purple, whice the pick of course is the album "deep purple" (or how I like to call it - "April"), and one live album with the orcestrea , Jon lord was kicked from the position of "leader of the purple", the lead vocaliset was fired and the bass player recived the boot as well. The devil himself, richi blackmore, took over the band.

Purple ended thier previous album with the epic "April", an prog masterpiece, that in everytime I finish to lister I just keep on wondering... why god? WHY?!

When I entered this album to my CD player, I expected the band to grow only better... what suprise expected me ah? screaming guitares, a Chicken for a singer and alot.. ALOT of gain whom destroyed my hearing. purple was finished, and will always be rememberd for thier lousy riff of "smoke on the water". thier first albums today seemed to wanished, and thier left is a band how reycicle itself, but lets face it... thier been long gone dead... it least for me.
