5 stars Kamelot is one of my favorite bands! Along with Rush, Dream Theater and some others they really influence my love of music. They're more of a power-metal band, but they still dish out some great progressive elements. In a way these guys give some great music out to the world. Karma is by far one of my favorite albums that not only Kamelot released, but also of all time. I only have to say that to me it's a beautiful masterpiece. I first fell in love with Kamelot after hearing Black Halo and Epica, bought Karma and I'd have to say it goes right up there with the masterful Black Halo. This is when Kamelot truely realeased what they were good at.

Karma is the second album towards Kamelot's breakaway from the identical play of Crimson Glory. Thier first three albums were less of what you'd say original. But, in time they had to replace a singer and guitar, but got exactly what they've needed to become a great band. Fourth Legacy was the first album really to break away and discover what they found unique in thier style of music. Karma is the album that says, look at us "We're Kamelot!" And it says it perfectly. Being a 50% powermetal 50% progressive metal it takes you through some great adventures.

The songs have some of my altime favorites. You get the unusual "The Spell" which is actually a really, really, really good song. I listen to it all the time. They also have some awsome songs that have great lyrics such as "Karma", "Wings of Despair", "Temples of Gold", "The Light I Shine on You", and "Across the Highland". Then they have the beautiful acoustic song, "Don't You Cry" which also on the album I bought provides a French verson "Ne Pleure Pas". Kamelot also creates one of my favorite trilogy songs Elizabeth. A great song (Demo Version: Mirror Mirror with Progarchives) that delivers the masterful vocals of Kahn. This album also has one of my favorite introductions, "Regalis Apertura" I love it, and it really sounds good too. They also have a good song "Forever" which is a decent song that delivers an awsome transition from Regalis.

In conclusion, I'd have to say Karma is one of the best albums Kamelot has released, it goes right under Black Halo as an instant masterpiece. I love this album and listen to it frequently. Not to include that Amazon sells it for a really good price. Not only was it a good deal, but I'd buy the album if it were sold for like 16 USD instead of 11 USD. It's worth the money, it's a masterpiece!
