5 stars along with Live at Leeds (by The Who), is the best Live performance ever made. Just listen to "Child in Time" live version, and to the studio versin in In Rock...there are no doubts, the one performed live is absolutely better, above all Ian Gillan's voice manages to overpass his own limits, and listen to Highway star guitarsolo too: not very difficult if you are used to listen to Satriani or Van Halen, in fact it's played on cromatic scales...but this way to play the guitar influenced all the 'heavy? guitarist in the '80s, such as Steve morse, Van Halen, Malmsteen... This line-up, known as mark II, inspired lots of bands in the '80s, and testifies in my opinion the birth of Heavy Sound, and from here to Heavy Metal. Although there aren't many prog elements I can't give less than 5 stars...This is an inspiration, this is a page of history, this is a document that demonstrates what signify playing live concerts.
