5 stars Olias is Jon's first solo album, and I'm not quite sure, but I think with Olias Jon tries to prove that he IS the voice of Yes,, and if I'm right he does so with flying colors. Olias features Jon singing in harmony with himself (which is in my opinion how he sounds best), and lush/beautiful sounds.

This album is probably his most progressive disc, at least from his solo career anyway, and is a great starting point for those interested in exploring his solo career deeper. The album is also deeply inspired by the Lord of the Rings, and tells a great little fantasy tale about a guy named Olias.

Highlights: Qoquac Ėn Transic, Moon Ra, Solid Space

Let Downs: None

Olias is an exceptional album. It is Jon's best solo album and essential to any fan of Yes or Prog.
