ARENA

Overall, this is an outstanding effort from the wettonless ASIA, although not exactly for everyone.It starts and ends with a beautiful instrumental, respectively, "Into the Arena" and "Bella Nova". The title track is probably my favourite one from the album, and is a really majestic one, I find it impossible not to sing alone during the chorus. There are more majestic songs with a singalong quality - namely "Tell me why", "Words" and "Heaven". "U bring me down" and "The day before the war" are probably one of the most progressive songs ASIA has done, and they live up to it. At the end of the day, this is an outstanding album, and anyone who does not necessarily associate ASIA with their 80s commercial prog should give this one a listen.
