5 stars After several years of trial and error with their songwriting and unusual studio experimentation, Pink Floyd finally made an album that captures all of that into a cohesive whole and even manages to make it sound accessible and even catchy on several occasions. PF was always creative with their music, but here it all comes together smooth and not as abrasive as some of their earlier stuff like 'Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast' or 'Echoes'. This album features incredible production techniques for it's time, very much notable on tracks like 'On the Run', 'Time' and 'Money', with amazing displays of sampling and sound effects incorporated in the music, something that became the trademark for the band over the next few albums. It's an intriguing journey and listening experience that should be listened to with your best speakers or headphones. Highly recommended!
