EYE IN THE SKY (SINGLE)

I have two versions of this single; the first is the one above and the other has "Psychobabble" on the B-side. Either way, this is a great single, albeit not true prog. I have to give The Alan Parsons Project credit for combining 80s pop and 70s prog into something enjoyable to listen to. "Eye in the Sky" is brilliant (even better when preceded by the instrmental "Sirius"). The B-sides "Gemini", "Mammagamma" and "Psychobabble" are all from the same album and are all ok, though not the same caliber as the A-side. Seeing as we now live in a world where singles are generally for collectors only and CDs are the more common purchase, I'd reccomend picking up a copy of the "Eye in the Sky" album instead. But if you have the means (or iTunes and 99 cents) make sure you listen to "Eye in the Sky" the song. You won't be dissapointed, trust me.
