AQUALUNG

Many have lauded Aqualung as one of the impressive works of Jethro Tull. But I find this album dull, music wise. Ian Anderson is a fine lyricist and his vocals sounds great for a while, till it gets monotonous. This is no exception in case of Aqualung. Great lyrics and fine vocals (for a while) and then the album gets monotonous, lacking the sense of adventure that I look for in a prog-rock album. Tull was still evolving into the great band it will become in the next album. The opening track and Locomotive breath are two great highlights of this album.
