5 stars One thing first: I recognize it by the applause even before Highway star starts! This is of course a masterpiece, and I don't want to discuss if it's prog or not! Milestones of music have not genres boundaries!

Anyway, I think it's useless to say "child in time is amazing" or "Ian's drum solo is unbelievable"...Those guys are simply geniuses! Because we don't have to consider this one as a modern time album (we're not talking about Dream theater, in other words): it has been released in 1972! Precision in extreme fast sections, harmonizations, jamming, duets (especially the fabulous one between Ritchie and Ian G. on Strange kind of woman) have been performed in an era in which not just the progressive was newborn, but rock itself! Believe me, get this album as soon as you can, cause when spontaneously your head starts shaking and your arms raise to the sky, you may say you're listening to something unique!
