4 stars Excellnet neo prog record from this band. I'm still wondering why Final Conflict is not better known outside England. In Quest they jumped in the slippery concept algum project and did it very well. The songs work very well in context but are also very enjoyable individualy, a rarety. The word "simple" comes to mind when I think about their songwriting, but this is not a put down. In fact, it's a compliment since very few groups can deliver a CD which it's concept is profound without being pretentious, the music acessible yet with quite complex arrengements. The vocals and lyrics are emotive and moving. Eveything fits here, all tracks are good and though the group breaks no new gorund we are presented with almost an hour long worth of fine music. Considering how much crap is being produced nowadays, this is a great feat. Highly recomended to any neo prog fan who misses well crafted, emotional songs without too much icing on the cake.
