ENIGMATIC

After all htese years - this record remains fresh. no one before Niemen (and no one after him) used Greek-catholic traditioal chanting in rock music (the opening suite). Niemen was the first vocalist using oriental ways of singing. Niemen composed wonderful themes and dressed them in modern, jazz-rock clothes. Niemen used the words of the greaest Polish poets, like Norwid (BEMA PAMIECI...) or Słonimski (JEDNEGO SERCA). Niemen was a visionaire - he always tried to find ew routes for his music.And I'm not writing it only because I'm Polish.
