5 stars Wishbone Ash were particularly productive in the 1970s (and so are they nowadays). And even if the album may be underestimated, it still contains some of the best songs WA ever recorded. Its strongest feature is that there is only six songs on it and all are extremely well refined, all the inconsistencies cut out. Not a single weak spot on this album, every song is excellent. Persephone, Lady Jay and FUBB are one of my personal all-time favourites. On There's the Rub Andy Powell and Ted Turner reach the highest level of guitar craft. This album is recomended to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
