Exposure
4 stars As a long-term admirer of Rush, I feel that this is their best work since the 1980s. Whilst, there are no substantial musical developments on their most recent album, the band sound committed to making a well rounded collection of songs.Their playing is immaculate as you would expect of a band of their calibre.

I get the impression that on tracks, like Clockwork Angels and Headlong Flight, they are seeking to rediscover their heavy rock roots. As this is a concept album, I think you have to take all the songs as parts of the whole piece. Therefore the quality of the songs is very good, even though some are less memorable than others.

I unreservedly recommend this album to Rush fans, as well as to those who are not fans but want to hear a creative band at their best.
