INTERVIEW

There are many negative reviews about this album. They range from the argument that this is not the Gentle Giant that people love and that the songwriting is sub-par. I decided to give this album a change anyhow, and I was completely blown away. Everything I love about Gentle Giant is on this album. The complex songwriting, the brilliant vocal harmonies, the amazing skill of the musicians with the powerful voice of Derek Shulman. It's all here. Every song on this album from the brilliant, rocking opener "Interview" to the brilliant, rocking ender "I Lost My Head" is Gentle Giant at it's best. This album is where some claim GG lost it and started to sell out. But this album is far too brilliant to be a sell out, and this is where GG make their final brilliant progressive rock statement.
