4 stars When I take a look at the pictures from the small booklet I get the idea that it must have been something special there in Argentina in 2004: a wonderful light-show, great dia- projections and keyboard player/only original member Osvaldo Favrot is surrounded by a wide range of keyboards (similar to the 'Seventies Rick Wakeman') like a huge modular synthesizer, a Hammond B3 and the famous Minimoog synthesizer. Listening to this live CD I was very impressed by the music on the 12 compositions (mainly from the first two studio albums from the Seventies and the re-union album from 2004): the music alternates between tight mid-tempo featuring fiery electric guitar and lush keyboard work and dreamy with sensitive electric guitar soli, acoustic rhythm guitar and warm Spanish vocals. Very exciting are the electronic inspired Caleidoscopios, the alternating final song Sabios De Vida (melancholic vcoals and strong guitar work) and the dynamic instrumental break in Imagenes Tenues Y Transparentes along several great sounding soli on the Minimoog in other tracks. The recording quality is not optimal but this absolutely does not harm the wonderful and captivating album from Argentina, the future world champion this year?
