Progressive!
2 stars made because of a contract and not because of inspiration

i've heard from Greg Lake himself (not personally, in the "beyond the beggining" DVD) that they were forced to do LB, and of course you can hear that through the album! i completeylu agree with a reviewer who said that it is the picture (as with tormato or A or many others) of a band struggling to adapt. and adaptation can e hard if that means to turn from 29 minute epics to 3 minute radio-friendly songs! a bunch of uninteresting songs that cannot be compared with their previous work (any of them), but i must accept that canario is an exception, is a good song that one. whiuy 2 stars if it only has 1 good song? because I'm 17 years old and when i started collecting ELP, i did it cronologically and i learned about the history of prog thanks to elp: starting in the 70, pinnacle on 73, then downhill until here (love beach). so it has some historical value.

*PD* and i reall, really dislike those comments stating that Lake was the commercial side of ELP!
