THE AEROSOL GREY MACHINE

This record was amogst the first VdGG I ever heard, I was a little disappointed. Having heard pieces of masterpieces like Pawn Hearts & H to He..., I guess I expected a little more from this extraordinary band. But anyway as a debut this isn't at all bad, certainly better than Genesis' debut "From genesis to revelation." Some of the tracks are a bit dull and do not add anything interesting to this album. But tracks like the psychedelic "Aquarian" the more fierce "Octopus" and the beautiful "Afterwards" truly gives a clue of what to expect from a band like this. This day we can all be glad that a man like Tony Stratton-Smith (who also discovered Genesis) had an ability to spot talent like this.
