AQUA

I have to rate this album 5 STARS!!! ***** Unfortunately, thats only for the cover art! The music was about a dissapointing 2. I bought this CD & Alpha (both Roger Dean artwork) Alpha was reasonably ok, it had a couple of huge hits for Downes, Wetton & co. but Aqua was a real dissapointment. If you want to try Asia don't start with this one. I would only recommend "Asia" or "Alpha" unless you are a serious collector.

I will agree with "Easy Livin" that Someday is the best vocal track on the album, but I don't think its a track. Personally, I only liked the short opener & closer Aqua & Aqua II, I used them as filler back in the days of cassettes. The rest of the tracks are unremarkable tunes, more similar to "Arena Pop" of Bon Jovi etc. than to ELP or Yes (prior bands of drummer Carl Palmer & keyboardist Geoff Downes).
