2 stars This album contains two long soundscapes, "The Outer Darkness" and "The Gates Of Paradise", each divided in two parts. While "The Outer Darkness" is very dissonant, aggressive and makes you cower in fear, "The Gates Of Paradise" is beautiful and very emotional.

The highlights on this album are the beautiful "Pie Jesu" (released as a single) and "Sometimes God Hides" from the quieter soudscape "The Gates Of Paradise". Ever heard the wail of a banshee? Just listen to the other soundscape "The Outer Darkness" - not really my taste. Rating: 68/100 (average)
