LEFTOVERTURE

Before purchasing this album, I had only heard the few overplayed Kansas hits that are on the radio. I enjoyed songs like Carry on our Wayward Son, and Dust in the Wind, but i had never heard any of their other stuff. I was suprised when I heard this album because the songs that werent hits were even better than the hits themselves. This is the first Kansas album I have bought, but I look forward to getting more of their work.

If you have never heard Kansas before, this is a great sample of their sound. I highly recomend this to anyone who enjoys classic rock bands such as Boston, or Crosby Stills and Nash. Kansas reminds me of a mix of those two bands with progressive rock thrown in. It's a very nice blend.
