PIECES OF EIGHT

I must say that this is probably my favorite album, and as write music myself, probably the most influential to me. I am a huge fan of music that has drama and anthemic qualities, and this does it best. This is Styx's best album, I am convinced, because they were so "gelled" on this one. Think about this: on Paradise Theatre you could clearly tell who wrote each of the songs, whereas on this one, it's fairly unclear. But the music is all strong, and the scream on Queen of Spades is almost single-handedly THE coolest moment in Rock History. Maybe.
