GHOST REVERIES

Unbelievable masterpiece. Opeth have six great long-playing records (My arms, Your hearse, Still Life, Blackwater Park, Deliverance, Damnation and this one). In this last creation, Akerfeldt has get compose eight intrincated songs with wonderful melodies, cyclone-riffs and metaphorical lirics about life and death. But now, the quartet are five, with the incorporation of Per Wiberg on keyboards. In one hand, I want to emphasize about three fantastic and complex songs: Ghost of Perdition, Harlequin Forest and The Baying of the Hounds. On the other side, Hours of Wealth, a real perdition blues. The Grand Conjuration is a powerful song to stage. Opeth are the main and isolated metal band in the whole world, of course.
