A NIGHT AT THE OPERA

I listened to Queen way before I was even introduced to the progressive rock scene, and think that the "prog or not" debate should not even be an issue. Regardless, this album is a classic. If anything, The Prophet's Song is a reason to purchase it. A blend of excellent electric rock instrumentation, coupled with the meandering melodic phrasing and mild rhythmic syncopation make the song quite enjoyable. All in all, for anyone interested in Queen, this is a great introductory album.
