5 stars I've been listening to 'Crime' for the past thirty years after seeing them live in Brighton in 1974. I still listen to it regularly and it never seems to age and always has the desired effect on me. The lyrics seemed so personal when I first heard them that they could have been written about me !!. I thought I was going mad in the seventies as I preferred to be on my own and was considered to be a bit strange because of this and was convinced I would end up in the loony bin - but did'nt. Even now thirty years later I still get 'choked up' whenever I listen to it (if I'm on my own !!). I personally would class it as a concept album as it does follow a theme. For years I could'nt decide whether 'Crime' or 'Dark side of the moon' was my favourite all time album - but I now listen to 'Crime' more than 'Dark side' so that must mean that 'Crime' wins.
