![]() "In Remembrance" and "Black Fairy" are leftovers from the Theli album with Dan Swano doing the vocals - maybe too straightforward heavy metal and not enough operatic for that album, these songs appear here. "Fly To The Rainbow" is a cover from an old Scorpions song. "Children Of The Damned" is of course the cover of the song from "The number of the beast" (let me say I prefer the original, even if the performance of Piotr Wawrzeniuk is remarkable). "Under Jolly Roger" is another cover - apparently of something the band likes - and has been recorded as a kind of joke. "Symphony Of The Dead" is a short orchestral version of the song that appears on "Beyond sanctorum" (again the original is better - at least the covered part). "Here Comes The Tears" is another cover (of some obscure Judas Priest song). At this point, the music style on the album changes completely: no more basic heavy metal songs, time for some classical music! First come the re-recorded versions of the "A' Arab Zaraq Lucid Dreaming" soundtrack: basically the main classical melody with added drums, bass and guitar. Those songs are awesome... very classic symphonic metal from Therion indeed. Finally the original "A' Arab Zaraq Lucid Dreaming" soundtrack: for sure that's something totally different - pure classical music from a guy that started by writing brutal death metal! For someone enjoying this style of music, it's a pure pleasure to hear something like that from Therion. Rating: 88/100 (Part I - heavy metal: 76/100 - Part II - classical music: 100/100)
