RAGING SILENCE

Yet another 80's release from Uriah Heep that falls far below their original classic sound. Although this may be marginally better than the few releases that come before it, it is still pretty much middle-of-the- road, AOR rock with cheesy lyrics. Of course, the musicianship is awesome, as usual for Heep, their skill seems to be wasted on songs like this. Some bonus live tracks add little to the power of RAGING SILENCE. Good but can be found elsewhere. Also, kind of a lame album cover. Overall, it is a 2 star effort. I suppose it beats Gunz N Roses and Poison from about the same time period. The Heep did manage to slowly improve after this release.
