2 stars In it's time this must have been an important album. Even ground breaking in some way. But... actually this is quite horrible music. The raw voice of Sonja Kristina is untolerable in the openin track "it happended todaaAaaAaay". And the backing music is mixed noise. The second song stays better together but is boring until the phsycedelia breaks free following the violin. Ugly sounds.... The third starts nicely with the violin but then Sonja starts singin a totally different tune. The track works when violin is alone as solo instrument but everytime singing begins the song collapses. Even the motorshaw like guitar is better that the singing.

Okay lets jump to Vivaldi. Its starts like the first class in a music school. If you are a mother you can listen and say: "Oh how well my little boy plays the violin". I'm not and I suffer! This is worse than swedish country violin playing. Someone has written that this track includes a multitrack virtuoso violin. Multitrack yes, but virtuoso... never. I listen to classical music alot and I know that who ever mediocre violinist would play better without multitrack! The name Vivaldi is also misleading. The piece is not by Vivaldi. He could never compose anything so stupid. There probably is one or two bars of Vivaldi playden over and over again makind some modulations. Most of Vivaldi's music is five star masterpieces.

After Vivaldi a nice intro but again a disaster as the singing starts. I relly dont like this girls voice. And even worse is comming as the sevent track opens. Really ugly singing. The band could achieve some good progressive music alone. The 50's guitarsound is enetertaining. The eight track is the best one on this album (no singing). Allthough you canb hear that playing in studio is new expierience the piece is good.

In the last song before the final instrumental Sonja is at her best. She has though difficulties to hold her voice down. Hell, she would have sound reservies to be the new singer for Nightwish! The song then drifts to pshycedelia again and my too good equipment don't forgive the baad studio techniques.

In the closin tune the raiping of Vivaldi continues, this time in an amusementpark...

Although I didn't like the album as a whole a lot there are qualities that alone are remarkable. One star would be unjust and three too much (this is not good) soi I give 2 stars (and yet I own this album and will not sell it!).
