A LIVE RECORD

I love live records, back in the seventies I used to collect them all, remember Grand Funk? and Deep Purple? Jeff Beck? even a few years back I used to play over and over "Bursting Out" for 4 or 5 weeks in a row. So I was expecting pretty good things from Camel, a band I specially like but let me tell you that this is not a good record. IMHO the tempo of the second CD it is not right and it is a letdown. Now I know why this band was never a big league player. Peter Bardens was a hindrance, he sounds so outdated with that organ. It reminds me The Doors. He was no Wakeman for sure, and add to the mix the voice of Latimer and you´ll have the whole picture. I strongly recommend to stay put with the superb studio records they produced. Sorry gals and lads.
