4 stars If someone decided to listen to all the Floyd albums in a row I would recommend blasting 'The Nile Song' on full volume between albums just to make sure you are still alive. Of course most people that will listen to More won't like 'The Nile Song' since it's too energetic for the average stoner and Floyd fan. This album is also unique in the post Barrett Floyd catalogue because they make every attempt to put the listener to sleep like usual but fail miserably, their sleep enducing techniques had after all not been perfected yet, they would become masters of that artform during the 70s, here they make the typical beginner's mistake of including 'The Nile Song' and even manage to be quite entertaining on some of the mellower tracks. The album does contain some filler though, but at least it's not 100% filler like several later Floyd albums. This album can easily be recommended to anyone that isn't a fanatical Pink Floyd fan and seldom indulges in drug use.
