5 stars A brief review would be the following statement: "Album of the year - 2006".

Needless to say anything more. This is the proggiest album from the Canadian madman/genious, an excellent cohesion of the floating nature sound of Terria and the real heavy(devy) songs from Infinity or the Strapping Young Lad albums. The battle of the Beauty and the Beast. The sound is the familiar "wall of sound", someone does not like when every instruments roar from everywhere is the same time, but it definitely fits to the music. Let it Roll is a peaceful intro that leads into the maniac extremity of Hypergeek. Triumph and Babysong were written in the same vein as the songs of Terria, but the real madness starts with Vampolka which is followed by the most outstandig tracks of the album such as Vampira, Gaia, Pixillate or the ending song Notes From Africa which I consider as the best one after a couple of listening.

Sink on your knees before Devin and listen to Sychestra!
