PROMISED LAND

Promised Land is a great prog-metal album, in my opinion better than Operation: Mindcrime. The onyl weak song on the album is "Bridge", an junky pop-metal tune. Other than that song, this album is excellent with very few weak moments. Good singing from Geoff Tate and well constructed songs. Not many solos on this album though so if you like bombastic solos this album might not quite be your bag.
