PORTABLE MADNESS

Portable Madness is for sure THE best music from Sensations's Fix and one of the top 20 prog albums of all time ... It was way before prog groups have to «perform» a given number of records per 3 years contract.

I know, masterpiece or 5 stars rating have to be tagged carefully. But tell me, what kind of tag could you give to music still alive and appreciated 40 years after been written ? Really ?

The band played in perfect harmony, no one is trying to be « the star» and even solo part are staying low profile. I really appreciate the drums | percussion style and talent of Keith Edwards.

For those who are lucky enough to still have the vinyl version (ie less compressed then CD), keep a special attention on «Underwater» at the time where the beat is changing on a slower time signature when Falsini is modulating (on synthesizer) and then leading on guitar. Wow ! what an emotional charge they put on this.
