5 stars Wow! Almost nothing you can say, run out of superlatives for this super recording, the pinnacle and beginning of the genre, other groups leading up to this point (notably 1-2-3/Clouds) but almost nothing could prepare us for this grand climax, some outstanding songs, but more than anything, the sound, the mix was so new, so different, as Townshend said, an eerie masterpiece. All the elements of prog that had been floating around and suggesting much suddenly coagulated into this cauldron of boiling music and sound that thrills me almost as much today as it did at the time. An absolute no-question five star solid.
