Tonbridge Man
5 stars The Moodies are acknowledged to have made 7 classic albumes in their 1967 -1972 heyday. It is difficult to say if any of the seven were ever truly cutting edge at the date of their original release but I feel they got closer with this album than any other bar maybe Days of Future Passed.

The poetry works better here than on the others and the songs are generally strong and climax with the brilliant Have you heard/The voyage/Have you heard part 2 which is surely one of the best symphonic/mellotronic tracks ever made rivalling King Crimson's Epitaph.
