4 stars I don't consider this album as prog rock, but it's great! This new line-up blended a funky sound to DEEP PURPLE traditional hard rock, resulting in gems like "You Fool No One", "Might Just Take Your Life" and "Lay Down Stay Down". Also, David Coverdale's voice fits perfectly on "Mistreated", one of the greatest blues song ever recorded by a rock band, with a excellent guitar solo by Ritchie Blackmore. If that's not enough, the title track is a blockbuster, one of the most powerful songs I have ever heard.
