Great live album, probably one of the very best!!

DEEP PURPLE - MADE IN JAPAN has many classics on it, the opener is Highway Star and one of my favourite Purple tracks, and I love that Japanese organ tease Jon Lord does on Child In Time and one of their progressive tunes as well, Smoke On The Water is just class and The Mule also a gret track (I think it's the one with the excellent drum solo by Ian Paice).

Disc 2 also has favourite moments of mine Strange Kind Of Woman and the Hammond Organ sound effects on Lazy and a lenghy version of Space Truckin'.

So all in all a all round great performance, excellent bass playing, tremendous Guitar playing, Great Organ effects and the solos of Paice's drumming, for a good live album start here!!

I personally recommend this album, 100% RECOMMENDED, may have it's Prog moments but in other terms it ROCKS!!!
