5 stars This little box set is really a must if you are a Björk fan like I am. There are 4 discs on this box set, 2 CD and 2 DVD. The box itself is not what you can call perfect, the box is made of cheap cardboard, and the sticker that hold the box close, doesn't stick very well, but who cares when the contant of it is very great.

The fist disc is a live in the studio CD that concist of tracks from the Björk cathalog played live in the studio with Björk and her, then current, touring band. The performance are flawless and the sound of unity trough the musician, makes the songs sound like they came from the same album with the same band. My personal highlight from that CD are I Miss You, Army of Me, Innocence and Declare Independence.

The second disc is another CD with remix of Volta songs by different DJ. Wile some of the mix might be good, I could have live without this CD being in the box.

Now, for the main reason to get that box set, the third disc is a DVD that have two complete concert in it. The first concert is a show done in Paris during the Volta tour, and the second concert is stripped down show done in a cathedral in Reykjavík. The Paris concert is, IMHO, the best concert on DVD, with Royal Opera House, from Björk. The show start with the amazing Earth Intruder, played with perfection by Björk and her band. Just as you recuperate from that, Hunter, from Homogenic, start and you know you will be in for a treat, and what a treat! Good songs after good songs, always played with perfection by her band, and on top of it, full of emotion, Björk sings her songs with such beauty and/or agressiveness that you, as a listener, are caught in the concert like a great drama. The second concert is a let down compare to the intensity of the Paris show, but is be no means, devoided of beauty and emotion.

The last and fourth disc, is a DVD with all the Volta video in surround sound + small documentary of the making of some of the video. The cool thing with this DVD is that you can ear some of the best tracks on Volta in surround and with that, you get to see the best of the best, in therm of video making.

So, Voltaic is definetly a must have if you are a Björk fan, 5 Stars.
