5 stars For what it is, this album is incredibly important. Not only did this, the Residents first album, freak out a load of people, it showed what the group could do. While taking their influence from no one, they managed to create their own sound that, after a few listens, really has some great beauty to it. Rest Aria is probably the easiest track to get into, while also being the among the most beautiful. The first few tracks fade into each other which fits much better than one might expect on the first listen. Sure this release is out of print, but it's truely worth hunting down. This is a big piece of musical , and progressive history; not to mention, a very interesting one at that.
