5 stars I am quickly beginning to have a new favorite band. This album is a definite jaw dropper form the get go. Inferno(Unleash the Fire) is as good a prog metal song as i have ever heard... period. If for no other reason you need to have this album because of this song. The guitars are wonderful, vocals are way beyond exceptional and everyone else is more than holding up their end of things. Wicked is a bit more strait forward metal, but still has the cool prog 13 time signature... incantaitions of the apprentice is an interesting but still pretty straight forward metal... Accolade II is a wonderful track that brings to mind Kansas for one. Much more keys in this, but it still rocks hard. King of Terrors is inspired by Edgar Alan Poe and sounds like you think it would, pretty dark, ultra heavy, low spoken vocal parts etc. The turning and awakenings carry this theme on to the 24:00+ The Odyssey. This track rocks for the whole duration, even managing to make the slow and "heartfelt" parts sound interesting and leaving you begging for more. Well Done!
