FERMÁTA / PIESEň Z HÔľ

This CD reedition is in my opinion a bit unfortunate union of two very different albums. While the self-titled "Fermata" is rather aggressive serious rock-jazz of an excellent quality, the other album "Piesen z hol" is much easier with rock elements almost missing (with the notable exception of the title track, which is fully demonstrates Griglak's virtuosity and exceptional musicianship). While not unpleasant to listen to, the other track of "Piesen z hol" are not as exciting.

Still I give it 4 stars because it contains some excellent musical material.
