LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT 2

Although the band members show fantastic skills in their instruments, being an example for "synergy" (active cooperation; together as one whole, they are much greater than the sum of each and every one of them alone); their second album is very un-balanced. Sure, there are great tracks such as "Acid Rain" and "Another Dimension", but there is one masterpiece here, that is called "When the Water Breaks".

Throughout the history of progressive rock we see albums with the un-even element, such as "Red" by KING CRIMSON with the grand piece "Starless", and "A Change of Seasons" by DREAM THEATER, but still, to me it seems as if two diffent worlds. "When the Water Breaks" and all the rest. It sounds like it was written in a different time, like not parralel to the other tracks.

Though, it is highly recommended.
