IRON MAIDEN

This was the first classic Maiden record i ever owned, mostly on the strength of Phantom of the Opera. While Killers didn't have too many great songs, this record somehow brought the heavy prog of Rush with the Punk of the Sex Pistols. Prowler is straight up classic, while Phantom of the Opera is (arguably) Maiden's best song. IMHO, Dickinson does not do the song justice when singing it. Sadly, neither ballad (Remember Tomorrow and Strange World) have very little to offer and are the only things keeping this fabulous album from being 5 stars. Though those ballads offer little, the rest is pretty spot on. 4/5
